Use Malta’s North and South hop-on hop-off bus routes for 48 hours, then take a harbour cruise within three days of activation. Start at Captain Morgan in Sliema at 10:00 am. Live commentary and an optional Esplora Science Museum stop are included, but museum admission is extra.

“The ticket we had wasn't 'registered' with the tour company so they had no record of us having paid. Called VIATOUR and the person on the phone said they would get in touch with the tour company to help us get the situation sorted. I am still waiting for a reply from them, 6 weeks later. I would not recommend buying a ticket through this website and buy it from a seller at your holiday location.”

2.2-Day Hop-On Hop-Off Bus & Harbour Cruise (CMO)

★★★★★★★★★★4.1 · 12 reviews · from $57Best value

Use Malta’s North and South bus routes over two non-consecutive days, stopping at Mdina, the Three Cities, and Valletta. Add a harbour cruise within five days of activation for waterfront views. English commentary and wheelchair access are available, but check the operator signs carefully before boarding.

“It's easy to explore the most important sights. But you have to be careful, as there are two providers on the island, so you can't take just any bus. You also have to pay attention to the signs, as the north route buses are not necessarily blue. Unfortunately, the audio guide provided does not work on every bus. They are not the newest. We took full advantage of the offer with a two-day bus tour and a harbor tour on the third day. (Tip: sit on the right side so that the explanations match what you are seeing.)”
